Diego De Leo Diego De Leo (President)
Emeritus Professor of Psychiatry and Past-Director of the Australian Institute for Research and Prevention of Suicide at Griffith University, National Center of Excellence for the Prevention of Suicide and a Collaborative Centre of the World Health Organization (WHO). Director of the Slovene Centre for Suicide Research and Director of the Department of Biopsychology, University of Primorska, Slovenia. Past-President of the International Association for Suicide Prevention and co-founder and Past-President of the International Academy for Suicide Research. Creator of the World Suicide Prevention Day, held annually on September 10. Chair of the Board, Postvention Australia. Chair of the College of Presidents, International Association for Suicide Prevention. Editor-in-Chief of the journal of the International Association for Suicide Prevention “Crisis” and member of the editorial boards of 15 international journals. He has published more than 400 papers in international journals, 180 book chapters, and 35 books. Winner of several national and international awards, Queen Elizabeth II, on Australia Day, 26 January 2013, conferred him the title of Officer of the Order of Australia “in recognition of his distinguished service to medicine in the field of psychiatry as a researcher and through the creation of national and international strategies for suicide prevention”.

Among the many events she has created or coordinated, “In Hoc Signo Vinces”, an exhibition on the history of the cross through the centuries.

Office. An interior decorator for several years,
she has offered cooking classes in Brisbane, Australia, where she has lived for 11 years.

Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Padova, he has been President of Padova Promex as well as the Cuba-Italy Business Committee.
